The Transfer Window is officially closed!

And just like that, we are done! (well until January anyway!) and what a Transfer Window it was!

Records were broken, players were signed, deals were cancelled – we had it all! Premier League clubs have splashed out more than ever before in a transfer window as spending this summer surpassed £3 Billion.

A total of £2.73 Billion had been spent by 31 August, but big-money deadline day deals – headlined by Alexander Isak’s move from Newcastle to Liverpool for a British record £125m – pushed the total to £3.087 Billion.

Out of all the teams – Liverpool not only dominated but absolutely smashed it by signing Isak from Newcastle for £125 million, Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen for £116m, Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt for £79m, Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen for £29.5m, Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia for £29m and Giovanni Leoni from Parma for £26m.

It was abit of an up and down window for my club, Man Utd. We started off very quickly bringing Cunha in from Wolves very early in the window. But ended up with only 5 Transfers coming in when the window closed. Cunha, Mbeumo, Sesko, Leon and Lammens. Luckily as the window closed we did manage to offload a few players with Sancho joining Villa, Hojlund sadly joining Napoli, Garnacho snaking his way to Chelsea and Antony finally re-joining Real Betis on a permanent deal.

Overall there have been alot of big movements. Arsenal finally got their striker in Gyokeres, Man Utd replaced Hojlund, Garnacho and Rashford with Sesko, Mbeumo and Cunha, Chelsea signed nearly everyone else, Grealish hit the ground running at Everton & Isak forced a move from Newcastle to Liverpool (who did miss out of Guehi in the closing hours of the window).

Who are you most looking forward to seeing in their new teams colours? Have Liverpool bought won the league already? After beating Arsenal on Sunday can anyone compete with their new and improved super squad?
